PCMS Presents Musical Fund Society 200th Anniversary Concert

Celebrate the bicentennial of Philadelphia’s treasured Musical Fund Society with a concert of world-premiere chamber works by four of America’s finest living composers. Performed by four eminent ensembles, the newly-commissioned works are all rooted in the history of Philadelphia, connecting audiences with the city’s rich musical life,  past and present. PRISM premieres Roberto Sierra’s Graffiti II. The Curtis 20/21 Ensemble, Rolston Quartet (Astral), and Network for New Music premiere works by Tania León, Augusta Read Thomas, and Stephen Jaffe, respectively. Presented by the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society.
